Our story
Jordan Taxi started in 2012 with one driver, one well-travelled sedan, and a simple idea: visiting Jordan should feel like being driven by a friend who happens to know every road in the country.
The first travellers all asked the same question in different words: can someone just take care of the driving? Since then we have matched thousands of visitors with hand-picked local drivers. They landed at Queen Alia at three in the morning and found our driver waiting. They floated in the Dead Sea while he watched their bags. They came back from Petra with sore feet and found the car cool and ready.
We stayed small on purpose. No call centre, no fleet numbers painted on doors. Just us and our drivers.
Our mission
To make every visitor feel what we feel about Jordan. One trusted driver from the first hello at arrivals to the last goodbye, so travellers are free to look out of the window instead of at their phones.
Our vision
To be the way people travel Jordan: not an anonymous ride, but a local friendship that starts at the airport. Every guest flies home with a phone full of photos and a driver's number saved for the next visit.

Twelve years on the road
Petra at sunrise, meetings in Aqaba, honeymoons, wedding convoys, border runs at strange hours. After more than a decade our drivers have seen most things, and what they have not seen they solve on the spot.
The cars changed, the phones changed, the booking form definitely changed. The idea never did: you should arrive relaxed, on time, and a little more in love with Jordan than when you set off.
